As you pull back on the throttle the Power FRK/ECU will call up performance on-board Fuel Injection and Ignition Timing mappings. THIS IS NOT A RESISTOR – and it is not magic! The Power FRK is using a new tuning technology. It has the ability to communicate with your ECU’s firmware. In this fashion we achieve our goal – Plug and Play – Tuning 2.0!
There is no risk of damage to the engine or electrical system since the modified sensor signal will always perform within the limits of the manufacturers firmware. The module works in conjunction with your vehicles ECU and will not affect engine reliability. In fact the Power FRK will allow a cooler running engine on completely stock and/or on modified bikes that have had their pumping losses reduced> By way of performance air filters like the Pipercross and the BMC filters and performance exhaust systems. A Slip-on to a full catless performance exhaust like the Laser, BOS or Akrapovic. Your engine will have less pumping losses and it will run too lean. This is when you need performance tuning and the Power FRK will surpass your expectations – in every way!
