The installation of the Power FRK must be performed by a professional motorcycle technician.
This simple installation requires you to connect the Power FRK Module to the intake air-box temperature sensor (IAT) and the stock IAT sensor’s two pin wire harness that leads to the ECU. This is a Plug ‘n Play installation as the Power FRK has the same OEM connectors as the subject motorcycle. It can only be connected one way as the connectors dictate. Simple!
Please review the pictured instructions carefully before installing and mounting mounting the Power FRK power unit.
This is a Plug and Play installation. It will not cause any fault codes and it is undetectable by any manufacturer’s diagnostic programs. The Power FRK can be removed and the motorcycle will return to the stock ECU configuration – again without any fault codes.
IMPORTANT:
Do not touch the electrical pins inside the connectors WITH YOUR FINGERS!
The installation must be conducted with the ignition switched off and just to make sure – Put the key in your pocket.
The battery MUST be fully charged and connected during the installation of the Power FRK. Once the installation is completed and the bike is started you may disconnect and re-connect the battery without fear as it is only needed for the initial installation of the Power FRK Module.
Secure the Power FRK Module safely away from any moving components and hot engine surfaces with the supplied Velcro or zip-ties after the module is properly installed.
NOTE: Optimal results are achieved with the 91+ octane name brand fuel! We recommend this as your Ignition Timing will be optimized by the Power FRK Module for maximum power. It is important to note that running lower octane in hot weather can cause pre-ignition detonation (Pinging). This is not good for your engine’s longevity and running lower octane (87-89) will not offer the best mileage and optimal performance.
Additionally, For Optimal Performance motorcycles must be properly serviced, have fresh spark plugs, correct valve settings, properly reporting Lambda Sensor (o2 Sensor) and accurate throttle body synchronization and balancing. This is essential for a smooth powerful torque delivery throughout the ENTIRE rpm range.
We advise caution on your first ride as the Power FRK Module will increase the HP and throttle response significantly!

The Power FRK Module is waterproof, shockproof and will work perfectly with ambient incoming air temperatures of -5 to +160 degrees Fahrenheit.
The Power FRK carries a lifetime guaranty for the original purchaser!
The 2004-2008 BMW K1200 series Power FRK Module has a white with red stripe wire. It must be connected to chassis ground as pictured in the installation guide.
